The tower of Kik-in-de-Kök is a majestic monument of the Middle Ages, a symbol of formation of Estonia.
The tower of Kik-in-de-Kök built in the 15 century, was the largest at that time, the cannon tower of the Baltic coast. Till nowadays, in the powerful walls of the tower the stuck artillery kernels from the stone and the pig-iron have remained. Today, in the tower there is the museum which acquaints you with city history. The basic collection of exhibits is dedicated to military subjects. Here there is armour and the weapon of the medieval soldiers are stored. From the tower of Kik-in-de-Kök it is possible to go on the excursion in the ancient vaults of Tallinn.
